Babameto House is located very close to the bazaar. It looks like an elegant apartment with three floors, but in fact it is a composition of two houses, built for two brothers. The two houses, dating from 1885-1887, have their interior spaces organized in different ways. There are still rumors about how much it cost to build these two houses; the most skilled craftsmen worked and the best materials of the time were used for this buildings.

Even today we can observe many authentic features, such as door frames carved in stone or other details in wood inside the house. According to the stories passed down from generation to generation, one of the Babameto brothers was very religious, so a mosque was carved over the gate of his house. The other brother was passionate about livestock and agriculture, so a chariot pulled by two oxen is carved on his gate. The courtyard has only one door , which serves both houses. In the backyard you can see the well, which is also the reason why there is no stera in this house. Traces of a water drainage system that came from the upper part of the hill were also found on the ground floor and in the yard. The Babameto House was completely restored in 2013. During the restoration of the plaster, both inside and outside, only traditional materials were used.
